The problem

The black box you've been burned by.

Finding senior developers in expensive European markets takes months and costs €130K+/year fully loaded. And when you turn to outsourcing, you trade one problem for another: the black box.

You don't know what the developer is actually working on. The PR shows up two days late. Half the acceptance criteria are missing. Messages go unanswered for hours, and every detail has to be spelled out or it comes back wrong. More cleanup than the code saves.

Who this is for

Is this you?

  • You have a live product with real customers and a backlog that keeps growing.
  • You need a senior engineer, not a junior you have to train.
  • You want them inside your tools, your standups, your sprint. Not in a separate workflow.
  • You’ve tried outsourcing before and it did not go well.

Most of our clients are teams of 2 to 20. If any of the above is off, we will tell you on the first call and save both of us the month.

Not the right fit if
  • You want to hand over a brief and not be involved at all.
  • You need a one-time contractor for a single project.
  • You need us to own your product roadmap end-to-end.
Your team, your process

Your Slack. Your tools. Your schedule. We plug in.

The engineer joins your Slack, your project board, and your standups. They work on your schedule, in your timezone overlap, using your tools. Nothing new to set up.

You define what to build and set the acceptance bar. You test during UAT. Code reviews and quality checks are handled on our side before anything reaches you.

A named Head of Delivery at Reduzer owns the engineer's performance, manages their workload, and is your single point of escalation.

We usually catch issues before you raise them. When something does need escalation, you call us, not just the engineer. If an engineer needs to be replaced, we handle it. The work continues.

Daily visibility

A morning brief. An evening summary. Every working day.

Morning plan, evening summary of what shipped and what carries over. Delivered via Slack or email, so you always know where things stand without having to ask.

A Tuesday morning brief, then the matching evening summary. This is what lands in your Slack.

What you get

A managed delivery service with quality control built in.

A full-time senior software engineer, internal quality layer, delivery coordination, and developer performance management. No hidden fees. No recruiter fees. No benefits administration.

The engineer
01A senior software engineer, full-time on your team.
Judgment under ambiguity, ownership without supervision, calibrated communication with non-native-English teams. English fluency verified in a live exercise.
02Onboarding we run.
Week-one plan co-authored with you. We arrive with the checklist; you adjust it to your team.
03Productive from week two.
First PR merged, meeting your acceptance criteria, by the end of week two. If revisions come back because of context we should have gathered during onboarding, we fix it on our time.
The quality layer
04AI code review on every pull request.
A frontier AI model runs three independent passes per PR with majority voting and evidence tagging. OWASP Top 10 scope for security; logic, duplication, and UI/accessibility for quality. Findings appear directly on the pull request.
05Human QA in a staging environment.
Once changes are merged and live on staging, a Reduzer QA engineer runs functional, non-functional, and consistency checks against acceptance criteria.
The operating wrapper
06Fast replacement.
Often within 48 hours if the skill matches our bench; one week if we’re recruiting. We run the handover. The incoming engineer is briefed by us before their first day.
07Your code, your IP.
DPA with Standard Contractual Clauses. Per-client API keys configured under enterprise terms that prohibit training on your code. We do not use your code in any Reduzer-internal process.
08One named Head of Delivery.
No rotation. Disputes escalate through this role.
You will spend noticeably less.

A senior developer in expensive European markets costs €130K+ per year fully loaded. Reduzer typically lands 40% to 50% below that at comparable seniority. Exact numbers against your scope on the first call.

Talent engine

Fewer than 1 in 10 applicants make it to your engagement.

For a typical senior role, we get around 50 applicants and hire one. They pass a technical assessment, live coding session, communication screen, and a paid trial project, in that order.
